چکیده

Abstract Introduction Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is common in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and presents unique challenges for TAVR access. The impact of on limb ischemic events PAD unknown. Purpose Evaluate with without outcomes involving systemic cardiovascular events. Methods Patients were identified the TriNetX database. database provides access to electronic medical records (diagnoses procedures) from approximately 86.5 million 58 healthcare organizations. stratified by history PAD. After propensity score matching, 30 day (peripheral revascularization, acute ischemia (ALI), lower extremity amputation), major adverse cardiac (MACE), mortality compared between groups. 1 year MACE also compared. Event rates calculated using Kaplan-Meier estimator. Results We 22,405 TAVR. Of these 21.3% had diagnosed significantly increased peripheral revascularization (2.4% v. 1.2%; adjusted OR (aOR) 2.02, 95% CI 1.47–2.80) ALI (2.27% 0.89%; aOR 2.59 1.80–3.70) a similar rate amputation (Figure 1). (13.2% vs. 11.4%; 1.18 1.04–1.33) (2.46% 1.53%; 1.63 1.21–2.19) continued significance at follow up (MACE: 25.8% 21.6%; 1.26 CI1.15–1.39; Mortality: 9.4% 7.3%; 1.32 1.14–1.52) 2). Conclusions In our study, was associated as well days up. Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

Recreational marijuana use is not associated with worse outcomes after renal transplantation.

As marijuana (MJ) legalization is increasing, kidney transplant programs must develop listing criteria for marijuana users. However, no data exist on the effect of MJ on kidney allograft outcomes, and there is no consensus on whether MJ use should be a contraindication to transplantation. We retrospectively reviewed 1225 kidney recipients from 2008 to 2013. Marijuana use was defined by positive...
